I like when the pastors get together too. It would be even more effective if we met outside of church and did some life together.

Nice post – I can always relate to that one!

Dude, it has to be something that you are diligent with for maximum effectiveness, for sure. Usually for me, it’s something I schedule in the early – AM … usually after my personal quiet time. Many times my postings come as a result.

Also, when you DO find a good time to sit down and write – if it’s flowing … keep writing. Do multiple posts, and save them as drafts so all you have to do is login and click “publish”. I have about a dozen drafts saved. I also jot down ideas and thoughts from time to time to “save” as a blog post.

Indeed. To some degree, I enjoy the fellowship we have among the pastors at SSCC, especially in our bi-monthly pastors staff mtg time.

Personally, I also have a “band of brothers” – most of them are in Pensacola, FL – whom I’ve prayed and fasted with going on nearly 13 years. They are long-distance, but only an “instant message”, “email”, or “phone call” away, and we’re always there to hear one another.

This is awesome news. It’s a hunger like this that God can really show up and fill a person in a powerful way. It’s someone like this that makes ministry “awesome”.
